Our Stay was an Oasis for our Family!

We were SO THRILLED that we could get into your home for this special time with our family. Thank you SO MUCH! Our stay was an “oasis” for our family, especially during Covid and with my sister undergoing cancer treatments. We especially enjoyed renting e-bikes—which we could all enjoy—using the kayaks, and just relaxing at all the great spots on the property. Short drives to great restaurants and shopping. All the wildlife, from eagles, heron, 2 adult bunnies and a baby, mountains jays at the feeder! And those special chocolate-chip cookies you made were such a special touch. Again, thank you!

We will remember this place forever

We just had our engagement party in your beautiful house. Everything was designed very well and staying here was better than being in the nicest hotel. You take great care of the smallest details and we will remember this place forever as we just started our journey together. Thanks for having us!

Thank you for a well-needed getaway!

Stormy, rainy weather
Autumn leaves falling
Magical views
Marvelous wine
Awe inspiring
Mud and puddles
Irresistible colors
Slow walks in the woods
Hours of exploring
Thank you for a well-needed getaway! See you in July! [From Michelle’s son, Evan]: “Thanks for giving us the opportunity to check out the city and your lovely home. It’s a super nice place and I had fun jamming to tunes throughout the house!”

We made great memories here!

Thank you for creating the wonderful place where you feel like you are a million miles away from everything. Your artwork is beautiful and so fun to have all around you as you cook, sit around taking in the view or chatting with family members. You have a well-stocked and organized kitchen that any cook would appreciate. And the Sonos speaker system made for great dancing and singing along. You can’t help but move! The media room was ideal for watching the Seahawks take the Dolphins down. Our favorite part of your home was the boat house with kitchen and bar, practically sitting on the water. It was great fun to run from the cold water of Lake Sammamish to the hot tub. We made great use of the canoe and the kayaks. On a final note, we appreciated the wide variety of glassware between the kitchen, boat house and the media room. Who doesn’t appreciate a bloody Mary on game day in a super tall etched glass? Thank you—we made great memories here!

A beautiful experience in your gorgeous home

Thank you, Leslie and Brian, for a beautiful experience in your gorgeous home and grounds. Your attentiveness in both what you had available to us (towels, necessities, kitchen items, etc.) as well as answering contacts immediately was so appreciated and made our stay very easy. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying here again. Stay safe and healthy!

What an incredible retreat you have here on Lake Sammamish!

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The beautifully manicured gardens and perfectly attended home made our two weeks here an absolute delight. Thank you for all your attention to detail, from helping us find our wonderful chef Mat, to waiting until 10 p.m. for our arrival. We so appreciate your thoughtfulness. We hope to be back again!

This house was a dream!

We hadn’t seen our families in months, and this was the perfect house to hunker down in during Covid. The views were amazing, the lake so refreshing, and the house couldn’t be more homey. Thank you Brian and Leslie, please invite us back!

We had so much fun!

We are frequent travelers and this has been one of our favorites. What a respite from a crazy world—we wish we could stay all summer. Thanks from all of us, and we will be back!

A beautiful home with amazing views!

We were three business travelers attending a Microsoft event. The MS campus is 10 minutes away, and this home a perfect respite from several long days with the Microsoft team. I highly recommend this home for both business and holiday travels. It's the perfect location to stay when doing business with Microsoft. We'll be back for sure!

Brian and Leslie were exceptional hosts!

Brian and Leslie were exceptional hosts. I booked this house for Christmas with my family (who flew into town). Brian and Leslie put together wonderful little touches for us including: a Christmas tree, cribs for our infants, and a baby gate for the stairs. This was in addition to all of the wonderful amenities they had at their house. This is a beautiful lakefront house that I would definitely recommend to other travelers/vacationers. We hope to book this house again the next time our family is in town.

This is a stunningly beautiful and comfortable property.

It’s great for large family/friend groups, but blissful for couples as well. Plenty of spots to gather, or nest with a book. The vista is stunning, regardless of weather. We’re so sad to leave this wonderful house, but so thankful for the Lake Sammamish experience, which included two canoe explorations, one late-night lake swim and—best of all—eagle sightings! We were treated to the sight of 2 bald eagles soaring over the lake and diving for fish.
